What happens when a whole becomes a series of parts, and those parts are then remade into a different type of whole?

We are always looking for a story to tell, we need to make sense of those pieces of our own lives, so we reconstruct, taking the disparate elements and sticking them back together.

We are perhaps looking at a whole, which is in fact a montage of all those pieces and parts.
